ELS is a keen collaborator with local universities, frequently attending career events and supporting budding legal professionals.
In November 2019, ELS attended the University of Essex Law Fair and met with lots of enthusiastic students keen to find out more about life in the public sector and the exciting work they could get involved in.
These fairs are a fantastic opportunity for students to ask questions to legal professionals about starting and progressing a career in the law. It is also a chance for ELS to identify what students want when looking for relevant experience in an ever-changing legal market.
Attending the Fair reinforced the importance of maintaining strong connections with local universities, as well as promoting public sector legal services, something which can be overlooked by graduates when looking to start their careers.
