ELS appointed to the NHS Legal Framework

ELS is very pleased to announce that it has been appointed to the NHS Commercial Solutions Framework Agreement for the Provision of Legal Services. The Framework enables Public Bodies (including NHS bodies, local authorities, blue light services and charities) to access legal support from the selected  law firms appointed to the Framework. The appointment is for four years.

This Framework has an estimated total value of approximately £25 million  and covers eight categories of law. ELS has been appointed to provide services in the 3 core categories of Corporate and Commercial Law, Property Law Employment Law, and the non-core categories of Mental Health Law, NHS Governance and Public Law and Health Law.

ELS  will be supporting Public Bodies with the above specialisms.

In a climate where the public sector must do more with less, being able to access legal services under this national Framework is an efficient way to secure excellent legal service under the pressure of financial constraints.

ELS is the only local authority provider appointed to this Framework. We are proud to have been selected to deliver an array of specialist advice and support to a number of Public Bodies, and in particular NHS bodies, across the UK.

ELS are at the forefront of legal support for social care and public law and this appointment brings national recognition of ELS’ expertise in the healthcare legal sector as well. ELS’ public sector focus and ethos for many years has enabled Public Bodies  to access robust, competent and pragmatic legal solutions and aided them to face their day to day challenges and evolve with the ever-changing public sector landscape.
